Desde su primer LP «Luz Bel» [Noisex, 1992], el que tuviera cierta difusión en un par de radios locales y que por lo mismo tuvo un grupo de seguidores en Santiago de Chile, no tenía noticias de este trío de Salamanca compuesto por Pedro L. Ortega Sánchez en guitarra, Jesús Jiménez Castañeda en bajo y whistles y Daniel Pérez Ingelmo en batería. Cinco años más tarde editarían un nuevo álbum con el nombre de «Tristeza Hermoso Rostro» [Efervescente, 1997] y en mayo de 2005 lo harían con «Naturaleza Artificial».
Este disco y última edición del trío, sigue la línea musical de su primer álbum, con un pop instrumental de guitarras cristalinas, suaves golpes de batería y líneas de bajo armónicas. Además se suman los arreglos de violín y viola de Ángel Gordillo.
Este sonido me recuerda al grupo inglés Dif Juz de 4·A·D en los ’90 o a Underground Lovers del mismo sello, lo cual considero un atributo de Bélver Yin, pues su propuesta con su simpleza y elegancia sonora, alcanza ribetes de ensueño.

Since their first «Luz Bel» LP [Noisex, 1992] that was certainly spread out in a pair of local radios and for that reason it had a group of fans in Santiago de Chile, I didn’t have news from this Salamanca trio made up of Pedro L. Ortega Sánchez on guitar, Jesús Jiménez Castañeda on bass and whistles and Daniel Pérez Ingelmo on drums.
Five years later they published a new album under the title of «Tristeza Hermoso Rostro» [Efervescente, 1997] and in May of 2005 they released «Naturaleza Artificial».
This album follows the musical path of their first LP, with an instrumental pop along with crystalline guitars, smooth beats and harmonic bass lines, plus the arrangements of Ángel Gordillo on violin and viola.
This sound reminds me of the English group Dif Juz of 4·A·D of the ’90s or Underground Lovers from the same label, which I consider an attribute of Bélver Yin, because its proposal with their simple and elegant sound reaches dream borders.
