Ioa Beduneau
Ioa Beduneau es un artista afincado en el sur de Francia que desarrolla distintas disciplinas como complejas instalaciones sonoras que se reproducen automáticamente, e inventa y construye sus propios instrumentos electrónicos -como parte de la filosofía “hazlo tu mismo”- que complementa con sintetizadores modulares. Con su arte se propone establecer -como artista con una capacidad diferente- un puente con personas que también tienen una capacidad diferente (lo que algunos llaman discapacidad).
El LP debut “Mélodies pour Clairons” se editará el 21 de noviembre 2025 por el sello Marionette, donde el trabajo electroacústico que muestra los sinuosos caminos de la síntesis modular de carácter orgánico, junto a un pulso rítmico cadente.
Este periplo abstracto comienza con “Bête ivre” en el que predominan suaves percusiones a objetos metálicos y de madera, a las que se agrega una capa de texturas electrónicas. «Bêtes heureuses» nos transporta a un ambiente natural que bien podría ser un bosque; con el canto de pájaros que sugiere un momento de reflexión. Diferente es lo que ocurre en “Volante» que exhibe un diálogo bizarro de los sintetizadores que continúa en “Cloches & Trompes” con sus extraños arpegios de tintes oscuros.
En los dos últimos tracks “Une Flaque sous les Bois I” y “Une Flaque sous les Bois II” hay espacio para el silencio y pequeños ruidos sutiles que es cuando Ioa Beduneau comienza a revelar un mundo que se conecta con la naturaleza.
Ioa Beduneau is an artist based in the south of France who works in various disciplines, such as complex sound installations that play automatically, and the invention and construction of his own electronic devices –as part of the “Do It Yourself” (DIY) philosophy – which he complements with modular synthesizers. Through his art, he aims to build a bridge between people who also have a different ability (what some call a disability) and himself as an artist with a different ability.
The debut LP ‘Mélodies pour Clairons’ will be released on 21 November 2025 by the Marionette label, featuring electroacoustic work that showcases the sinuous paths of organic modular synthesis, together with a cadent rhythmic pulse.
This abstract journey begins with ‘Bête ivre’, dominated by soft percussion on metal and wooden objects, to which a layer of electronic textures is added. ‘Bêtes heureuses’ transports us to a natural environment that could well be a forest, with bird chirps suggesting a moment of reflection. Something different happens on ‘Volante’, which features a bizarre dialogue between synthesizers that continues in ‘Cloches & Trompes’ with its strange arpeggios and dark undertones.
In the last two tracks, ‘Une Flaque sous les Bois I’ and ‘Une Flaque sous les Bois II’, there is space for silence and subtle little noises, which is when Ioa Beduneau begins to reveal a world that connects with nature.
