Este es el primer trabajo sonoro de tres dimensiones que fuera exhibido en el Keiichiro Shibuya, “Filmachine Phonics, ATAK 010, 2007. Shibuya también dirige el sello japonés ATAK cuyo cartel comprende a artistas de la vanguardia electrónica que realizan música experimental con tecnología digital y análoga.
Esta música fue especialmente diseñada para escucharse por audífonos, a fin de capturar los sonidos que vienen horizontalmente [de arriba abajo] de izquierda y derecha y viceversa, mientras que la música pasa por delante del escucha. Para este trabajo sonoro él trabajó junto a Panasonic quienes le apoyaron con una avanzada tecnología.
La mayoría de los sonidos son microscópicos que parecen venir del espacio exterior. Sonidos que viajan lejos y otros que llegan de forma muy cercana. Es una extraña sensación y al mismo tiempo un viaje fascinante hacia una nueva experiencia espacial sonora.

This is the first ever three-dimensional sound work which was an installation created by Keiichiro Shibuya that took place at the Yamaguchi Center for Arts and Media [YCAM]. Shibuya is also the owner of Japanese ATAK label whose roster comprises avant-garde electronic artists that deliver an experimental music proposal under digital and analog technology.
This music was specially designed for a headphone listening in order to capture the sound that comes horizontally [up and down] and the sound that flies from right to left and vice versa while you are in the middle and the music passing by in front of you. For this sound art piece he worked along with Panasonic company that support him with avant technology.
Most are microscopic sounds at a high speed that feel like being in the outer space. Sounds that travel beyond and others come very closely. It’s a weird sensation and a fascinating journey to a new spatial sound experience.
