Koji Asano es un artista japonés residente en Tokio que posee una discografía de más de cuarenta discos desde 1995. ‘Polar Parliament’ está compuesto, producido y autoeditado en su sello Solstice.
Este disco tiene dos temas que totalizan 67 minutos. El primero de ellos es una pieza muy minimal, sólo un sonido algo áspero y repetitivo, muy mecánico, sin variación alguna. No obstante, es hipnótico porque el ruido está de fondo, fluye y tal parece que fuera a arrancar con un ritmo techno.
El segundo tema tiene el ruido de un motor o algo parecido. Me recuerda al trabajo de Jason Kahn y Günter Müller, con sonidos muy mínimos realizados con sintetizador y pasados por varios procesadores.
Un disco aparentemente simple pero efectivo.

Koji Asano is a Japanese artist living in Tokyo who has a large discography of over forty albums since 1995. ‘Polar Parliament’ is composed, produced and self-released on his label Solstice.
This album has two tracks totaling 67 minutes. The first one is a very minimal piece, just a sound somewhat harsh and repetitive, very mechanical, without variation. However, it is hypnotic because the noise is in the background, flowing and it seems to start out with a techno beat.
The second issue is the noise of an engine or something. I remember the work of Jason Kahn and Günter Müller, with very minimal sound made with synthesizer and passed through multiple processors.
An album seemingly simple but effective.
