Martin Herterich viene de la ciudad de Budapest, Hungría quien ahora vive en Estocolmo, Suecia. Comienza en 2003 haciendo música electroacústica con el proyecto Audiokontroll2 y luego en 2005 junto a Militant Field se forman como Sekvens, editando discos para el sello americano Zeromoon y el sueco Hwen.
Con registros de campo obtenidos de un puerto, en donde se escuchan a lo lejos gaviotas, el sonido del mar, algunos diálogos y las bellas notas de un piano van dando forma y sutileza a “The Harbour In Rain (Morning)” que por momentos me recuerda a Stars of The Lid.
Herterich combina el glitch, el procesamiento de las notas del piano, comprimiéndolas, estrechándolas para formar drones junto a las pulcras notas.
Todo esto sucede en un apacible ambient, con un piano parsimonioso y algunas notas que tienen errores de lectura, craqueos y sampleos de notas de piano que se esparcen por todo este EP que puede ser bajado gratuitamente a través de archive.org.

Martin Herterich comes from the city of Budapest, Hungary and now is based in Stockholm, Sweden. He starts in 2003 making electroacoustic music with his Audiokontroll2 project and two years later in 2005 formed along with Militant Field, Sekvens, releasing on American Zeromoon label and Swedish Hwen imprint.
With field recordings taken from a harbour where gulls are listened to the distant spot, the sound of the sea, some dialogues and the beautiful piano notes are subtility shaping “The Harbour In Rain (Morning)” that per moments recall to Stars of The Lid.
Herterich combines glitches, the processing of the piano by compressing and stretching them to form drones along with graceful notes.
All this happens in calm ambient, with a parsimony piano and some notes with glitches, crackles and samples of piano notes that scatter by all this EP that can be downloaded for free at archive.org.
