Hace dos años que no se editaba un nuevo disco del fallecido músico inglés Bryn Jones de la ciudad de Manchester y que viene a sumarse a su larga discografía de más de 20 discos editados en Staalplaat, Extreme y Soleilmoon, entre otros sellos.
Jones evoca la música árabe y realiza un magnífico trabajo con el sampler con el cual recoge grabaciones de campo; como la algarabía de la ciudad, diálogos entrecortados, ruidos urbanos y mensajes radiales que se relacionan con la causa Palestina de la cual es partidario.
En “Speaker Of Turkish” encontramos las características percusiones de tablas y los beats pulsantes e hipnóticos que invitan al trance. Jones experimenta con la manipulación de sonidos de tablas y cítaras, extendiendo sus ecos y aprovechando las resonancias de estos instrumentos.

This is the first new release in more than two years of English artist Bryn Jones based in Manchester who died in 1999 and comes to add to his important discography of more than 20 albums released on Staalplaat, Extreme and Soleilmoon, among other labels.
Jones evokes Arab music and he makes a gorgeous work with the sampler which comprises field recordings of urban noises, scattered dialogues, and radio political messages which are related to the Palestine cause of which Jones is in favour.
On «Speaker Of Turkish» we can find the characteristic percussions of pulsating and hypnotic beats of tables that invite to the listener to a trance inducing atmosphere.
Jones experiments manipulating of sounds of tables and zithers, extending its echoes and taking advantage of the resonances of these instruments.
