Anthony Baldino
Anthony Baldino es un músico, compositor y diseñador de sonido nacido en Nueva York y radicado en Los Ángeles. Además de producir y ejecutar su propia música, ha colaborado con sus sintetizadores en importantes bandas sonoras de Hollywood, tales como Tenet, Wakanda Forever y Transformers.
En su faceta como realizador experimental dentro de la escena del sintetizador modular, el artista entrega en esta oportunidad “Conveyor”, su segundo disco en solitario. Este trabajo crea oscuras atmósferas que lindan con el techno industrial y el glitch, y se publicará a través del sello de Chicago BL_K Noise el próximo 18 de septiembre de 2026.
En «For Death To Come», la tensión, la intensidad y el peso de las pulsaciones rítmicas dejan al descubierto la profundidad de la que emergen la distorsión y las texturas ruidosas y densas; estas, a su vez, se atenúan en «Leave The Reminder» para crear un ambiente más sosegado. Por otro lado, «Dark As Sleep» insinúa en sus líneas melódicas sintetizadas un dramatismo que delata urgencia e inquietud, fuertemente influenciado por el diseño sonoro cinematográfico del autor.
Mientras tanto, en «A Sudden Crumbling Into Ruin», la combinación de módulos a través de cables de conexión arroja saturación y glitches, modelando sonidos sinuosos y abstractos que también se plasman en «Holding, Waiting». Finalmente, en «Lifted From Lifetimes Away», las oleadas ambientales perduran en el espacio generando calma, mientras que «Live Forever», la pieza que cierra el disco despliega toda su carga emocional a través de las melodías conductoras que cruzan el álbum.

In his role as an experimental artist within the modular synthesiser scene, he now presents ‘Conveyor,’ his second solo album. This work creates dark atmospheres bordering on industrial techno and glitch, and will be released via the Chicago-based label BL_K Noise on 18 September 2026.
In ‘For Death To Come’, the tension, intensity and weight of the rhythmic beats reveal the depth from which distortion and dense, noisy textures emerge; these, in turn, subside in ‘Leave The Reminder’ to create a more tranquil atmosphere. Meanwhile, ‘Dark As Sleep’ hints at a sense of drama in its synthesised melodic lines that betrays a sense of urgency and unease, strongly influenced by the artist’s cinematic sound design.

Throughout Conveyor, the sound design functions as far more than a mere technical embellishment; it is the driving force behind a commanding narrative that seamlessly transmutes harsh noise and analog distortion into pure expressions of melancholy and catharsis.
