Mike Cottone es un diseñador gráfico y artista sonoro que reside en Detroit. Su primera edición fue en 2005 en el compilado “Skamcats” del sello electrónico inglés Skam. En el mismo año hizo otra aparición en la compilación “Open Remix Project” editada en 12k/Term. Además, en 2006 publicó dos álbumes: “Lucky Bamboo” [EKO netlabel] y “Meadowview” [Heldernacht].
La música combina registros de campo, glitch y paisajes sonoros. Texturas ambient, tonos brillantes de campanillas y estática, suaves acordes de guitarra y como un todo, un disco muy armónico.

In the same year he did another track for the ‘Open Remix Project’ compilation released on 12k/Term. In addition, in 2006 he released two albums, ‘Lucky Bamboo’ [EKO netlabel] and ‘Meadowview’ [Heldernacht].
The music blends field recordings, glitch and soundscapes. Ambient textures, shimmering tone bells and stasis, gentle guitar chords and as a whole quite harmonic album.
